The pups have been trained in harness for 2 years participating in bike-joring & cani-x. This here is their first time pulling a sled & they did GREAT! What a ton of fun.

My husband AJ has been working with RD every day since his arrival on 26 Jul 2013. He starts every day with a run, be it bike-joring with AJ or cani-cross runs with me. He is filling out nicely and has put some nice muscle on throughout his core, chest and hind legs. As you can see in the videos, he is one happy boy. RD is a 3 year old neutered Alaskan Malamute available for adoption. He is currently being fostered in northern MI. AJ has basically been living with RD downstairs night and day. He is 3 years old and had not been house trained, leash trained, any type of obedience work in that 3 yrs. He was left, neglected & left to his own accord in a yard. So what Andy has done in 2 weeks is nothing short of a miracle. AJ utilizes exercise and positive training techniques and as you can see, RD is loving it & thriving! We headed indoors at Walmart & took advantage of the maze of grills to test Teddy to see if he would mind the strange footing or unfamiliar objects.

Teddy took a ride to Walmart and Lowes today. We had him scaling piles of mulch & pallets, climbing between & under stocked shelves in the grocery store and the lumber yard. Following us around the store with little to no coaxing on our part ~ Teddy did everything we asked of him and more. He had quite the fan club by the time we left. He loved every minute of it as you will witness in this sequence of videos.

He is 3 yrs old but after being virtually left to his own defenses his entire life, he is thrilled about everything. Normally we squelch a case of the zoomies in the house ~ but his complete unbridled joy as he lets loose and truly begins to feel comfortable was too good to see. He Loves Loves LOVES human contact, if you don't want to pet him, that is ok ~ he will rub all over you, flipping upside down, leaning on you, sitting on your lap. He will sit facing you and gently place his paws on your shoulders and give you a face full of kisses. He chews his bone like it is made of doggie gold. We will keep up with his training every day and hopefully we will soon meet up with the right family that will love & care for him forever as he will do the same in return.

The PAWZ Twinz are getting back in their routine and back to being the silly goofballs that we all know and love. I love the play bow mirrors half way through, so darned cute.

Earlier today AJ let Shaylee out to run the yard as he stacked wood from our recently lumberjacked trees. She ran so excited and with such joy & enthusiasm. You will see here that round two was just as joyful. I am sure many of you that have tried to photograph or video tape dogs, will get a kick out of when she charges right to me, jumps and bites the camera ;)

The dogs love to run, so we hook them up to our mountain bikes and cruise with them serving as the "horsepower". This is Roxi, at just a year old. She is running a little faster in this video than she usually does but she regularly kicks it into high gear ;o)

First time running together & first time behind a sled ~ they did AWESOME!!

Our foster Malamute is improving every day with basic commands and confidence. He has learned that when the harness comes out, he gets to run and he loves it :o) (little bumpy, sorry) He has been with us for 8 days now.

Had a great time in our recently excavated back (dog) yard, playing with the pups. Fenway was showing all her best kickball moves ~ this one being my favorite :o)

Hi Jim ~ quick demo here showing how we load the Malamutes into the truck. We utilize a hitch step and cover it with a white towel for visibility for the dog as we discussed. We normally do not treat at every step of getting in and out, but since Bogie is just learning, it is a good idea to get a reeeaaallly tasty treat to use ONLY for this ~ find a treat that he goes bonkers for ~ you could even try small pieces of real meat that he only gets when he gets in your vehicle. We do not allow the dogs, no matter their age, to jump in or out of the vehicle without the step ~ in hopes of preserving their joints and ligaments as they age.

Teddy has never been in Lowes before today and he climbed through every space we asked with no issues or refusals.
